FCL Match Report: JC Reifenberg (2-0) vs Brennen Marr (2-0, 1KO)

Champion “The Gungalorian” JC Reifenberg entered the match with a singles record of 2-0. His career accuracy was 82.93%.

Challenger Brennen “Mystical” Marr entered the match with a singles record of 2-0. His career accuracy was 93.33%.

First Round

Reifenberg missed five questions, scoring three out of a possible eight points. Marr missed one question, scoring seven out of a possible eight points. The missed questions were:

The score at the end of the first round was 7-3 to Marr.

Second Round

Marr deferred.  Reifenberg spun Spinner’s Choice and he chose A New Hope.  He answered three out of four questions correctly and earned six out of a possible eight points.

Marr stole Reifenberg’s miss for two points.

The missed question was:

Marr spun Revenge of the Sith and kept it.  He went to multiple-choice once, answered four out of four questions correctly, and earned seven out of a possible eight points.

The score at the end of the second round was 16-9 to Marr.

Third Round

Marr spun Star Wars Quotes.  

Marr bet two points and was correct.

Reifenberg bet three points and was incorrect.

The score at the end of the third round was 18-6 to Marr.

Fourth Round

Marr deferred.  

Reifenberg answered six questions correctly, one question incorrectly, and passed on three, gaining a total of five points.

Marr answered nine questions correctly and passed on one, gaining a total of nine points.

The final score was 27-11 to Marr via KO.

Other Details

Having passed on three questions, Reifenberg answered 12 of the 20 questions he gave an answer for correctly for an accuracy of 60%. His record is now 2-1.

Including steal opportunities, having passed on one question, Marr answered 22 of the 23 questions he gave an answer for correctly for an accuracy of 95.65%. His record is now 3-0 and he is the new FCL Star Wars champion.
