As announced by Chairman Kristian Harloff in the Schmoedown Facebook group (membership required), this season’s Yodi Award recipient is Kevin “The Smasher” Smets. Smets is a worthy honoree and we are all looking forward to seeing what he has to say at the 2020 Schmoedown Awards ceremony in January.
In the post, Harloff acknowledged the #Yodi4Chronic love that has been going around the fans this year, but explained that the editor of the Schmoedown, Eric “Nerd Chronic” Rodriguez, was not eligible for the Yodi Award as the award is designed for on camera personalities. Harloff stated that Nerd Chronic will continue to get praise and love from him and big shout outs on all the awards. I hope that Nerd Chronic gets some sort of recognition for all the work that he did this year beyond just some praise, love, and shout outs.
