Let’s do a brief recap of the Schmoedown news from today.
There were more matches announced on Twitter and SEN Live by Chairman Kristian Harloff.
- March 17th – Innergeekdom: Brandon Hanna vs Eric Zipper
- March 18th – Star Wars: Lacey Gilleran vs Gold Leader
- March 19th – Singles: Jeannine the Machine vs Jader Paramo
- March 19th Throwdown PPV – William Bibbiani vs Paul Oyama as an undercard to the Star Wars championship match between Alex Damon and Andrew Dimalanta
After comments from Samm Levine on Call to Action’s show Chill to Action stating that the last year’s points system would be used for matches that had been announced prior to the draft, Harloff clarified that last year’s point system would have applied to those matches had Dimalanta and Damon or Chandru Dhandapani and Mara Knopic ended up on the same faction. As Roxy Striar didn’t draft Dimalanta and Winston Marshall didn’t draft Knopic, this means that the new points system for Season 8 will be used.
