The Super Bowl Champs are looking to “run it back” as Sean McVay was repeatedly screaming over and over during the parade in L.A. in front of all their 5 fans that attended to celebrate the Rams World Championship. It definitely seems that they are in shape to do so as they keep most of the key pieces like paying Aaron Donald to keep him from retiring, replace the ones they lost, and inexplicably defy the cap by adding even more pieces such as Allen Robinson and Bobby Wagner. This all sets up for another deep playoff run for the L.A. Rams but it will be extremely tough to repeat as nobody has done since the 04 Patriots. But that is not what we are betting here we are simply betting on the regular season and I can’t see any reason why they won’t win a lot of games this year borrowing a major injury. The Rams won the Super Bowl by having a very talented roster at key positions and having a decent enough quarterback to take them over the top. Another year in Sean McVay’s system will do Matt Stafford a lot of good which may help them win even more games than the 12 they got last year. Even though I really like the talent on this team and would put my money on them to win this division once again I can’t bet the house on it because just the nature of the division because they have two other teams that made the playoffs last year that they have to compete with to win the division. Usually, the favorite would have a minus (-) in front of the number in the odds but in this case, the Rams have a plus (+) number which indicates some pretty good value.

It was another flat ending for the Cardinals and head coach Kliff Kingsbury as he is known for falling off late in the season. They are coming off a beat down in the playoffs in the wild-card round of the playoffs to their rival and eventual Super Bowl champion Rams. There was a little bit of drama with Kyler Murray trying to get paid this offseason but I think he will be happy with the addition of Hollywood Brown to go along with Deandre Hopkins and Zach Ertz. They used their 2nd round pick on yet another TE to add to their collection of offensive firepower as well as drafting two pass rushers to replace the loss of Chandler Jones with the following two picks. I think they can at least get to 10 wins as Kyler Murray continues in his young career to get better and better in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense. I think they are the biggest threat to the Rams in the division which would make me put at least a little bit of money on them to win the division. Each year with the tandem of Murray and Kingsbury the Cardinal have increased their win total by 3 games each season now I may not think they can do that this season I definitely think they can at least get back to where they were last year which puts them right back in the playoffs.

The most important thing in sports betting is having as much information as you can and mitigating the unknowns. But when the biggest unknown is at the most important position in sports it is hard to know where to place your money. In this case, I would just avoid making any bets on the 49ers until I see more from quarterback Trey Lance. It looks like the San Francisco 49ers are going full force with the QB after nearly getting back to the Super Bowl with Jimmy Garoppolo. Jimmy G does have his fault for not throwing a great deep ball and ability to stay healthy but he did lead this team far into the playoffs twice in recent years. But they traded a lot of capital to go ahead and draft Trey Lance so they will be playing out their investment in him. In his limited playing time last year, I wasn’t impressed with what I saw I thought he looked like a guy that was not ready as well as a very weird throwing motion. Yes, the 49ers did make the playoffs and went on a little run but mid-way through the season this was a below .500 football team they just got hot at the right time. Though I don’t entirely know what I am getting from Trey Lance at quarterback this is a very good system he is that is based on Shanahan’s run game but I just do not like what l have seen from Trey Lance so far to trust that he will have some massive improvement that will this team to winning a lot of games this. I think he takes time to adjust and will struggle which is why I would not put any money on them to win the division as well as them to hit that under as well. I think Vegas has them pegged wrong on this one as they should not be the 2nd favorites to win the division, I think they got a little lucky last season and had some things go their way but that was under Jimmy G which they still have on their team up to this point.

One of the dumbest things you can do as NFL franchise is trade away your franchise Super Bowl Winning Quarterback who is still in their prime, but that is just what the Seattle Seahawks did this offseason. They traded away Russell Wilson to the Broncos who has been with the team for the last 10 seasons and now are going into the season with Geno Smith and Drew Locke. Those two names to not signify this team will win many games this year. Along with Wilson the last of the great legion of boom defense left as well with the departure of Bobby Wagner. With those two staples of the franchise leaving this team is in a complete rebuild with very little talent to build a foundation off of. Betting the under is an understatement because this team will struggle to even be competitive in games. I feel like they are tanking without outright saying they are tanking in order to draft a quarterback in a much better QB draft class in 2023. There is still the possibility that they trade for Jimmy G and if that happens you have to consider readjusting your bet or hedging your bet if you bet early. Now if that does happen the odds will adjust so you may be good to bet early on the over if that does indeed happen because they could squeeze out 6 wins with a very capable Jimmy G. But if all stays the way it is the Seahawks are in for a very long and rough year with very little hope and no chance of winning a very tough division.
