Match Report: Danger Zone (0-0, The Dungeon) vs The Midterms (0-0, SWAG)

Danger Zone is made up of “Dangerous” Dan Murrell and Ben “The Boss” Bateman. They entered the match with a record of 0-0. This was their first match together as a team. They represented The Dungeon.

The Midterms is made up of Jonathan Harris and Eric “Z-Man” Zipper. They entered the match with a record of 0-0. This was their first match together as a team. They represented SWAG.

First Round

Bateman missed one question. Murrell had a perfect round and hit the bonus question. Danger Zone earned sixteen of a possible seventeen points.

Harris missed one question. Zipper missed one question. The Midterms earned fourteen of a possible sixteen points.

Danger Zone deferred to The Midterms went first.  They spun New Releases and kept it.  They went to multiple-choice once, answered six out of six questions correctly, and earned eleven out of a possible twelve points.

Danger Zone spun Movie Release Dates and kept it.  They answered six out of six questions correctly and earned twelve out of a possible twelve points.

The score after round two was 28-25 to Danger Zone.

Third Round

The Midterms went first.  Harris took the two-point question in the category of Family Films and he got it correct.

The Midterms’ five-point question was in the category of Remakes and Reboots and they got it correct.

Then Danger Zone had to answer some questions.  Bateman took the two-point question in the category of Action/Adventure and got it correct.

Murrell took Danger Zone’s three-point question in the category of Scores & Soundtracks and he got it correct.

The final score was 33-32 to Danger Zone.

The Midterms answered 22 of the 25 questions asked to them correctly for an accuracy of 88.00%.  Their record is now 0-1.

Danger Zone answered 24 or the 25 questions asked to them correctly for an accuracy of 96.00%.  Their record is now 1-0.  They will next face Deception in the second round of the teams tournament.
